Snowdonnas

The Snowdonnas story:
In Fall 2001 Snowdonnas formed. Since then, they have received comparisons to bands such as Ride, Doves, Elbow, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Longwave and Catherine Wheel. These comparisons spell out a definite British musical influence and attitude unexpected for a band from Fort Worth, Texas. Snowdonnas’ debut album, Over Now, was recorded in Austin, Texas with Rory Phillips as producer/engineer. Rory has also produced Pretty the Quick Black Eyes, Kissing Chaos, Slowreader and The Impossibles. Alan Douches at West West Side Music mastered the album. Snowdonnas continue to support the release of Over Now with live shows, in-store performances, rotation and interviews on college radio, international radio, reviews and interviews in local and international press. They also maintain a presence with regular rotation of their music video for “Edison” on Austin Music Network, Your Music Network as well as internet downloads of the video from Launch.com. “Edison” was directed by Eric Hueber, who has also worked with The Impossibles and Slowreader. Snowdonnas disbanded in late 2007.
